Welcome to the official SVZVFD website. We’ve been serving South Van Zandt County since 1984.
Your South Van Zandt County Volunteers are an incorporated group of career firefighters, professional people, students, and junior firefighters dedicated to the protection of this area. SVZVFD currently operates out of 4 Stations and covers approximately 200sq. miles. SVZVFD currently has 48 fire fighters and support staff on the roster and has been dispatched to 817 calls for service during 2023.
